Everyone's a Critic.

You find them everywhere. you come across them everyday. even if you dont want to, there they are. they are on the news, in the newspaper, they even have tv shows. they are some of the most arrogant, pompous individuals in the news today. i of course am speaking of the movie critic.

movie critics are some of the most useless people in our society today. they never have anything good to say. when they say something positive i almost get the feeling that they were paid to do so. first of all, its amazing that they get paid to do what they do. they get paid to sit at the movie theatre all day just critiquing movies of all genres. they even give bad reviews to childrens movies. these are adults saying a kids movie sucked. thats absurd, of course adults think they suck! well, except moms.

film critics are usually failed directors. they tried their luck in the business and they failed, so they take out their anger or frustration on successful directors by giving them bad reviews. whats funnier is that some people actually listen to them. roger ebert made a movie that got terrible reviews, he was never the same again. he got fat, he started going crazy, giving thumbs down and thumbs up to people in the street, telling them they would never make it. eventually the state of california had to get someone to look after him, keep him in check, thats where siskel came in.. im just playing, that never happened, but he was a failed director.

basically everyone is a movie critic. anyone who goes to the movies should get a check on their way out. there should be some asshole standing out there from each production company with a check book in hand ready to cut you a check. it doesnt have to be a crazy amount of money, but if i didnt like the movie id at least want my money back. if those assholes can get paid to critique movies, so should we.
